SINERGITAS PEMERINTAH KOTA MAKASSAR DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN ANAK JALANAN

This study aimed to find out the synergy of the Makassar City government in empowering street children. This study used qualitative methods. Data sources consisted of primary data obtained through interviews, and secondary data taken from documents, records, reports, and official archives that could be supported by the integrity of primary data. The results showed that the synergy in empowering street children was carried out by the Social Service and the Makassar City Education Office. With indicators: Coordination carried out by the Social Service by forming a Quick Reaction Team (TRC) but it was still personal and there was no technical picture for education development. Then communication was carried out by establishing a technical implementing unit for the empowerment of street children. As for the synchronization with the harmony between the applicable work rules and the work results obtained for the empowerment of street children who dropped out of school.
