Peningkatan Aktivitas Dan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas 4 SD Neg. Katangka 1 Makassar Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Menggunakan Media Pembelajaran Komik Pendidikan Sains

Peningkatan proses pengajaran merupakan salah satu aspek penting untuk mengembangkan kualitas pembelajaran pada semua jenjang pendidikan yang dapat dilakukan melalui penelitian tindakan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini berfokus pada peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD menggunakan media komik pendidikan sains. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 4 sebanyak 25 siswa yang terdiri atas 10 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan pada semesters ganjil tahun ajaran 2016-2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa; dan (2) dan meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus satu dengan rat-rata kelas 74.6 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 12, sedangkan pada siklus ke 2 diperoleh rata-rata kelas sebesar 86.6; (2) peningkatan aktivitas belajar IPA siswa dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 untuk setiap aspek aktivitas. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan menggunakan media komik pendidikan sains dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa.

Improving process of instruction is one of the important aspects to develop quality of learning at all levels of education that can be done through action research. This classroom action research focused on increasing student activity and learning outcomes in learning science through applying cooperative learning model of STAD type using science educational comics media. This study was conducted in 2 cycles with research subjects as much as 25 person at 4th grade consisting of 10 male students and 15 female students in the first semester of school year 2016-2017. This study aimed to (1) improving student learning outcomes, and (2) enhancing the learning activities of students in science subjects. The results showed: (1) improving student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average grade 74.6 by the number of students who completed was 12 students, while the second cycle was found that the average value of 86.6 in learning science; (2) the improvement of student learning activities take place from the first cycle to the second cycle for each of the 15 aspects. It can be concluded that the science learning through cooperative learning model STAD type using Science Educational Comics Media in learning sciences could improve learning outcomes and increase the activity of students.
