Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Fisika Melalui Model Pemecahan Masalah (Problem Solving) Pada Peserta Didik Kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah model pemecahan masalah (problem solving) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA fisika pada siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA fisika melalui model pemecahan masalah (problem solving) pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan tiga kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan , pelaksanaan tindakan , observasi , dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Sebanyak 36 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama yang tuntas secara individual dari 36 siswa terdapat 22 siswa atau 61,11 % sedangkan yang berada dalam kategori tidak tuntas terdapat 14 siswa atau 38,89%. Dengan nilai rata-rata tes hasil belajar pada siklus I yaitu 73,06. Pada siklus II yang tuntas secara individual dari 36 siswa terdapat 23 orang atau 63,89% dan yang berada dalam kategori tidak tuntas terdapat 13 siswa atau 36,11%. Dengan nilai rata-rata tes hasil belajar pada siklus II yaitu 76,11.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas, dapat disimpulkan Hasil belajar IPA Fisika siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa melalui model pemecahan masalah (problem solving) mengalami peningkatan

The main problem in this study wether the model problem solving (problem solving) can improve learning outcomes physics of students class VIIIA SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. The study aims to improve the learning outcomes of physics through the problem solving model of students class VIIIA SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. This research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles where each cycle held three meetings. Research procedures include planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjek in this study were students 0f class VIIIA SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa a total of 36 people.The results showed that in the first cycles were completed individually of 36 students there are 22 students or 61,11% while that is not category of 14 students or 38,89%. With the average value of the test results to learn in the first cycles is 73,06. In the second cycles who completed individually of 36 students there are 23 people or 63,89% and who are in the category of incomplete there are 13 students or 36,11%. With an average value achievement tests on the second cycles was 76,11. Based on the above research results it can be concluded that the results of learning physics of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa through a problem solving models has increased.
