Penerapan Media Simulasi Menggunakan PHET (Physics Education And Technology) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Peserta Didik Kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui hasil belajar fisika peserta didik sebelum diajar dengan media simulasi menggunakan PhET, (2) mengetahui hasil belajar fisika peserta didik setelah diajar dengan media simulasi menggunakan PhET (3) mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik sebelum dan setelah diajar dengan media simulasi menggunakan PhET. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari 27 peserta didik. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan skor rata-rata hasil belajar fisika kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung sebelum diajar dengan media simulasi menggunakan PhET sebesar 10,88 dan setelah diajar dengan media simulasi menggunakan PhET sebesar 15,19. Dari hasil analisis uji n-gain diperolah N=0,4 yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 dalam kategori sedang.

This research used pre experimental research. These researches aimed to (1) know the physics student learning outcomes before treatment through by media simulation using PhET, (2) know the physics student learning outcomes after treatment through by simulation media using PhET, (3) find out the improvement of the student’s outcomes study physics before and after treatment through by simulation media using PhET. Subject of this research were all of the students in the first year of SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung In academic year 2014/2015 it consisted of 27 students. Finding indicated the mean score of the physics student learning outcomes the first year SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung before the application of simulation media using PhET were 10.88 and after treatment through simulation media using PhET were 15,19 from the analysis of test n-gain obtained N = 0.4 it means that there is improvement the student learning outcomes physics in category fair.
