Penerapan Konsep Accelerated Teaching Model MASTER untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Fisika Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Luwu

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan yang berarti antara motivasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu sebelum dan setelah diterapkan konsep accelerated teaching model MASTER tahun ajaran 2017/2018.Jenis penelitian ini termasuk kategori jenis penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pre Test-Post Test Design.Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu yang terdiri dari sebelas kelas dengan jumlah siswa 384. Adapun sampel penelitian diambil dengan cara acak yaitu kelas X MIA 1 dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket motivasi belajar fisika yang diukur menggunkan angket ARCS yang meliputi aspek perhatian (attention) berjumlah 12 nomor, pada aspek keterkaitan (relevance) berjumlah 12 nomor, pada aspek percaya diri (confidence) berjumlah 10 nomor, pada aspek kepuasan (satisfaction) berjumlah 4 nomor. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dari tes motivasi belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata motivasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu sebelum diterapkan konsep accelerated teaching model master adalah 116.67 dan setelah diterapkan konsep accelerated teaching model MASTER motivasi belajar fisika siswa adalah 140.97. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu.

This study aims to find out whether there is a significant improvement between the students' physics learning motivation of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu before and after applied the concept of accelerated teaching model MASTER 2017/2018 academic year. This type of research includes the type of research type of pre- experiment with research design used is One-Group Pre-Test Post Test Design.Population in this research is all student of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu consisting of eleven class with amount of student 384. The sample of research taken by random that is class X MIA 1 with a total of 34 students. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire of physics learning motivation that is measured using the ARCS questionnaire which includes the attention aspect (number) of 12 numbers, on the aspect of relevance of 12 numbers, on the confidence of 10 numbers, on the satisfaction aspect is 4 numbers. Furthermore, the data obtained from the test of learning motivation is analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The result of descriptive analysis shows that the average score of physics learning motivation of class X students MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu before applied the concept of accelerated teaching master model is 116.67 and after applied the concept of accelerated teaching model MASTER student physics learning motivation is 140.97. This shows that there is a significant improvement between physics learning motivation of class X students MIA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Luwu.
